  • Enable the Sierra Dialer at the team/account level

If your site doesn’t currently include the Sierra Dialer, contact sales@sierrainteractive.com for more information.

2. Open the Emoji Menu

  • When composing a text message, click the emoji dropdown menu

  • Choose from over 330+ emojis to insert into your message

3. Add Emojis Anywhere You Can Text

You can insert emojis wherever text messaging is available in Sierra, including:

  • Manual text messages from a lead detail page or the Inbox

  • Mass text messages from the Lead Dashboard

  • Text message contact templates

  • Auto responders

  • Tracking links via the Tracking Link Generator

4. View Emoji Use in Lead History

Once sent, any text containing emojis will appear in the lead’s:

  • Correspondence history on the lead detail page

  • Message history when sending additional texts

Best Practices

  • Use emojis that match your tone and intent—overusing them can appear unprofessional

  • Test emoji appearance on different devices if using unfamiliar symbols

  • Stick with common, universally recognizable emojis to ensure clarity
