Why This Feature Matters

  • Your Listing Detail Page is one of the most visited areas of your website, so a well-designed, well-organized page directly affects how visitors engage with your listings
  • Customizing content by property status or type (e.g., Active, Pending, Sold, Condo, Single Family) lets you tailor messaging and calls-to-action to what each visitor is actually looking at
  • Dynamic merge fields let you personalize content automatically instead of updating pages by hand
  • SEO-optimized, listing-specific content helps search engines index and rank your pages more effectively

Listing Detail Page Layout Overview

Every Listing Detail Page includes the following built-in layout elements:

  • Modern, mobile-responsive design — clean spacing and typography that display consistently across devices
  • Full-screen photo gallery — visitors can swipe through images or scroll inline
  • Sticky smart navigation — a nav bar that follows the visitor, giving quick access to Details, Map, or Description without scrolling back up
  • Icon-based property details — key details (beds, baths, square footage, etc.) are displayed with icons for quick scanning
  • Compact map placement — a smaller map keeps the focus on photos, price, and featureslisting_detail_page

Managing Featured Lenders on Listing Pages

If you work with a Featured Lender, review your visibility settings under Site Settings > Featured Lender to make sure the lender displays where and when you want. For full setup steps, see Featured Lender Integration Setup and Configuration.

Best Practices

  • Use separate content blocks for Active listings vs. Sold to tailor calls-to-action (e.g., "Schedule a Tour" vs. "See Similar Listings")
  • Leverage merge fields so listing details update automatically instead of requiring manual edits
  • Place content blocks below the photo gallery or description for higher visibility
  • Coordinate content block messaging with your Featured Lender settings so the two don't conflict

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Custom content isn't showing on listing pages.
Confirm the content block's status and property type match the listing you're viewing, and that you've selected a valid placement and saved your changes.
  • Updates aren't appearing in one of your MLS® regions.
Customizations must be made individually per MLS® region under Property Listing Detail SEO.
  • A Featured Lender isn't displaying on listing pages.
Confirm Featured Lender is enabled in Site Settings, the lender is assigned to the lead (if required), and visibility rules match your intended audience (logged-in vs. anonymous users).
  • The layout looks outdated or changes aren't visible.
Clear your browser cache and perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows / ⌘ + Shift + R on macOS). If you use a caching plugin or CDN, purge that cache as well.
