Enhance Your Lead Management with Personalized Action Plans

Maximize Your Efficiency with Automation and Control.

Why This Feature Matters

  • Agents gain more autonomy to create a follow-up strategy that reflects their personal touch.
  • Lenders can be automatically assigned to leads, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Improved lead management with micro-level lead routing control allows for tailored engagement.
  • Supports scalable automation while maintaining flexibility for personalized approaches.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Complete These Initial Setup Steps
Ensure the following are complete to use action plans properly:

    • Enable the Sierra Dialer at the team/account level.
    • Connect to the Dialer at the individual user level.
    • Connect your email in your User Profile.
  2. Navigate to Action Plan Settings
Go to LEADS → Action Plans → Action Plan Settings.

  3. Enable Agent Permissions
There are three toggle options that can be enabled in Action Plan Settings:

🔹 Allow Users to Create Personal Action Plans?

    • Enables all non-lender users (Primary Manager, Managers, Agents) to create personal traditional or fully automated action plans.
    • Adds a “Lead Routing Settings” option to their profile dropdown.
    • Auto-enables permission for agents/lenders to manually assign leads to fully automated action plans.

🔹 Allow Users to Select a Preferred Lender?

    • Allows non-lender users to auto-assign their preferred lender in lead routing rules.
    • Adds “Lead Routing Settings” to their profile dropdown.

🔹 Allow Agent and Lender-Level Users to Manually Assign Leads to Fully Automated Action Plans?

    • Permits manual assignment of leads to fully automated plans via lead detail pages or in bulk from the dashboard.
    • Limit: Max of 50 manual lead assignments per day per account.

  4. Access Lead Routing Settings (User-Level)

    • Users with permissions will see a “Lead Routing Settings” option in their profile dropdown.
    • This setting is per-user and separate from account-level routing rules.
    • In this view, users can:
      • See lead routing rules in which they’re included.
      • Edit rules to choose which personal action plan or lender should apply.
  5. Set Defaults in My Lead Routing Settings

    • Users can set default personal plans or lenders for leads routed to them.
    • Choose defaults from dropdowns, then click Save Changes.
  6. Create Personal Action Plans
Go to LEADS → Action Plans → + New Action Plan

    • Choose between Traditional or Fully Automated.
    • Select “My Plans” to create personal action plans.
    • Options vary based on permission settings:
      • Some users will only see “Create Plan”.
      • Others can also “Import Sierra Action Plan” or manage account-level plans.

Best Practices

  • Enable only the necessary permissions to avoid workflow confusion

  • Encourage agents to personalize but review for consistency across the team

  • Use “Lead Routing Settings” to empower agents without overriding account-level strategy

  • Monitor manual assignment limits (50 per day) to avoid disruption
