Getting Started with Sierra’s Calendar & Appointments Integration
Learn how to activate and use the new Calendar integration feature!
Welcome to the Sierra Calendar Integration Beta Program! We’re excited to help you get started with this new feature. This email contains all the information you need to activate the integration, along with a helpful video and FAQ to address any questions you might have.
Activation Steps
1. Activate Sierra’s Google Calendar Integration:
• Navigate to your profile settings in the Sierra admin area.
• Select the “Connect Calendar” tab.
• Follow the prompts to sign in with your Google account and grant Sierra permission to add events to your calendar.
2. Grant Necessary Permissions:
• Once the permissions are granted, click the “Continue” button.
• Select the checkboxes for the permissions required, or you can click the “Select all” checkbox to grant all requested permissions.
The permissions include:
• Viewing and editing events on all your calendars.
• Seeing, editing, sharing, and permanently deleting all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar.
• Once you have selected the desired permissions, click the “Continue” button.
3. Schedule Appointments from the Lead Profile Page:
• Once your calendar is connected, access the “Appointments” tab on the Lead profile page.
• Enter the necessary details for scheduling, including the day, time, location, appointment type, and participants.
4. Customize Your Appointments:
• Create custom names for your appointment types for better organization.
• Customize every appointment detail, including invitees and internal/external notes.
