How to Create a Neighborhood Page

Learn how to create a Neighborhood (Community) Page by linking it to a saved search and adding listings using the page editor in Sierra’s Admin Area.

Why This Feature Matters

Neighborhood pages help you spotlight specific communities with relevant listings, boosting both local SEO and lead conversion. When properly configured, they offer users a clear and visually engaging way to explore available properties in target areas, making your site more informative and client-friendly.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Set Up a Saved Search First

    • Click “+ Add New Page Component”

    • Choose “Active Listings from Saved Search”

    • Enter a title for the component (e.g., “Homes for Sale in Bear Hollow”)

    • Click Submit to insert it into the page

  8. Optional: Add a Content Label

    • Scroll up to the Section / Labels area

(See: “What is a Content Label?” for more info)

Best Practices

  • Write neighborhood descriptions that include unique local insights to improve SEO.

  • Always verify the Saved Search is active and returning accurate results.

  • Use a consistent naming convention for Page Titles and Components (e.g., “Homes for Sale in [Neighborhood Name]”).
