How to Suggest Listings to Leads in Sierra

Send personalized property recommendations.

Overview

Suggest Listings allows you to manually send property recommendations to leads. This is useful when you want to highlight specific listings, share off-market opportunities, or recommend properties outside of automated E-Alerts.

You can suggest listings either by using an existing saved search or by creating a new property list directly from the lead profile.

This guide walks you through:


Before You Start: Understanding Listing Suggestions

Listing suggestions are manual emails sent directly to leads that contain selected properties.

Unlike E-Alerts, listing suggestions:

  • Are sent one time
  • Allow you to hand-pick listings
  • Do not automatically send new matches
  • Can be created with or without saved searches

Suggest Listings From an Existing Saved Search

Use this method when your lead already has a saved search and you want to send selected properties from that search.

Step 1: Open the Lead

  1. Navigate to the CRM.
  2. Open the lead profile.

Step 2: Access the Saved Search

  1. Click the Searches tab.
  2. Locate the saved search you want to use.

Step 3: Open Listing Suggestions

Under the Actions column:

  • Click the List icon to suggest listings via email.
  • Click the Arrow icon to view current search results.

Step 4: Adjust Search Criteria (Optional)

If IntelliSearch Is Enabled

  • Modify search filters if needed.
  • Select properties by clicking the + icon.
  • Click Save and Continue after selecting properties.

If IntelliSearch Is Not Enabled

  • Modify search filters if needed.
  • Click Submit when finished adjusting criteria.
  • Select properties by clicking the + icon.
  • Click Save and Close after selecting properties.

Step 5: Send the Listings

Click Email This List when you are ready to send properties to the lead.


Create a New Listing Suggestion

Use this method when you want to recommend listings outside of existing saved searches.

Step 1: Open the Lead

  1. Navigate to the CRM.
  2. Open the lead profile.

Step 2: Create a New Suggestion List

  1. Click the Suggest tab.
  2. Click Create New List.

Step 3: Build Search Criteria

Apply filters such as:

  • Location or map area
  • Price range
  • Property type
  • Beds and bathrooms
  • Additional listing filters

Step 4: Select Properties

If IntelliSearch Is Enabled

  • Select properties by clicking the + icon.
  • Click Save and Continue after selecting properties.

If IntelliSearch Is Not Enabled

  • Click Submit when finished adjusting criteria.
  • Select properties by clicking the + icon.
  • Click Save and Close after selecting properties.

Step 5: Send the Listings

Click Email This List when ready to send properties to the lead.
