Listing Page Customization

Listing Page Customization allows you to personalize the content that appears on property listing detail pages based on listing status and property type. With flexible content blocks and merge fields, you can tailor messaging and visuals to deliver a more dynamic and relevant site experience.

Why This Feature Matters:

Your listing detail pages are prime real estate for branding and conversion. By customizing content blocks based on listing type or status (e.g., Active, Pending, Sold), you can create a tailored and engaging experience for visitors, helping them better understand the value of the listing—and your services.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Where to Customize Listing Detail Pages

  1. Click the wrench icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select MLS® Feed Settings > Property Listing Detail SEO.

  3. If you operate in multiple MLS® regions, select the appropriate MLS®.

Creating or Editing a Custom Content Block

  1. You’ll see a default content block already in place.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit it or create a new custom block.

  3. In the editing frame:

    • Select one or more Property Statuses (e.g., Active, Pending, Sold).

    • Select one or more Property Types (e.g., Condo, Single Family, Commercial).

    • Add your custom content. You may use merge fields to dynamically pull in listing data.

📌 Note: Merge fields allow you to automatically insert property-specific details like price, beds, address, etc., making each page feel personalized.

Placing Your Content Block

  1. Choose where on the page you’d like the content block to appear using the placement dropdown.

  2. Click Save to apply changes.

🧩 You can create multiple content blocks for different combinations of status and property type to display specific messaging as needed.

Best Practices:

  • Use separate blocks for Active listings vs. Sold to tailor CTAs (e.g., “Schedule a Tour” vs. “See Similar Listings”).

  • Leverage merge fields to dynamically populate listing details without manual updates.

  • Consider placing content below the photo gallery or description for higher visibility.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

Issue: My custom content isn’t showing on listing pages.

Solution: Confirm that the content block’s status and property type match the listing you’re viewing. Also ensure you’ve selected a valid placement and saved your changes.

Issue: I operate in multiple MLS® regions but don’t see my updates.

Solution: Customizations must be made individually per MLS® region under Property Listing Detail SEO.
