Step-by-Step Instructions

 

 

1. Access Lead Source Reporting

 

  • Click the gear icon in the Sierra admin

  • Select Reporting by Lead Source

 

 

2. Understand User Access Permissions

 

  • Primary Manager: Has full access by default

  • Other Users (Managers, Agents, Lenders): Must be granted one of two permissions in their profile:

     

    • Can access all Lead Source Reporting – Full access

    • Can access only My Transactions and Leaderboard – Limited access

     

 

 

3. Explore the Tabs in Reporting by Lead Source

 

  • Users with full access see:

     

    • Source Reporting

    • All Transactions

    • All Agents

    • My Transactions

     

  • Users with limited access see:

     

    • All Agents

    • My Transactions

     

 

 

4. Filter Reports by Date Range

 

  • Use predefined filters like Today, This Month, and Last Month

  • Select custom date ranges and click Apply

 

 

5. Filter by Lead Source

 

  • Use the All Sources dropdown in the Source Reporting and All Agents tabs to narrow data to one or more specific lead sources

 

 

6. Export Reports

 

  • Download data from the Source Reporting and All Agents tabs in PDF, Excel, or CSV formats for sharing or offline use

 

 

7. Add Transaction Details to Leads

 

  • In a lead’s detail page:

     

    • Change status to Closed or click Add Transaction

    • Fill in transaction date, amount, lead type (Buyer/Seller), and other details

    • Only Primary Managers and Manager-level Users can assign transactions to agents

    • Once added, transactions appear in the lead’s Summary tab

  • Regularly enter transaction data to ensure accurate reporting

  • Use Source Reporting to evaluate ROI on lead sources

  • Grant agents “limited access” to empower individual performance tracking

Troubleshooting Common Issues

 

 

Issue: Agent cannot view reporting

Solution: Confirm their profile permission is set to “Can access all Lead Source Reporting” or “Can access only My Transactions and Leaderboard”

 

Issue: No data appearing under Source Reporting

Solution: Confirm custom date range is applied correctly and relevant transactions were entered

 


 

 

FAQs

 

 

Q: Who can assign transactions to agents?

A: Only Primary Managers or Manager-level users with permission can assign the “Associated Agent” field.

 

Q: Can I see reporting by Buyer vs. Seller?

A: Not currently. All transaction types are included together in reporting data.

 

Q: Why does “$ Per Lead” still show value for older leads?

A: It includes all transactions for leads registered in the selected date range—even if the transactions occurred later.
