1. What is the Sierra Calendar Integration?
The Sierra Calendar Integration is a new feature that allows you to manage appointments with leads directly from Sierra CRM and sync them automatically with your Google Calendar. This ensures both you and your leads stay updated and organized.
2. How do I activate the Calendar integration in Sierra?
To activate the integration:
• Navigate to your profile settings in the Sierra admin area.
• Select the “Connect Calendar” tab.
• Follow the prompts to sign in with your Google account and grant Sierra permission to add events to your calendar.
3. How do I schedule appointments from the Lead Profile Page?
Once your calendar is connected:
• Access the “Appointments” tab on the Lead profile page.
• Enter the necessary details for scheduling, including the day, time, location, appointment type, and participants (multiple leads and agents).
4. Can I customize my appointments?
Yes, you can create custom names for your appointment types to better organize your schedule. Customize every detail of your appointments, including the date, time, location, invitees, and notes shared internally and externally.
5. How do I log the outcome of an appointment?
After an appointment, you can log the outcome to track your various appointments for reporting purposes. This feature is available in the Task Manager alongside other tasks, as well as in the Lead History.
6. Can I schedule appointments from the Log Call flow?
Soon, you’ll be able to schedule appointments directly from the Log Call flow, making it even more convenient to manage your interactions with leads.
7. Will this functionality be available on the Sierra mobile app?
Yes, this functionality will soon be available on the Sierra mobile app, allowing you to schedule and manage appointments on the go.
8. What if I encounter issues connecting my calendar?
Ensure that you have granted all necessary permissions for Sierra to access your Google Calendar. If issues persist, contact our support team.
9. What is the default appointment name?
The default appointment name is the Appointment Type. This is also what is displayed on the connected Google Calendar.
10. How does an appointment appear in the system?
Appointments show up as Tasks in Sierra CRM.
11. Where are appointments stored, and how are they displayed in the CRM?
Appointments are stored in Google Calendar and then displayed in Sierra CRM. To see appointments on the Lead Detail Page, you must be connected to Google Calendar.
12. Who can view appointments on the Lead Detail Page?
Collaborators and Manager-level Users can see Calendar appointments scheduled on the Lead Detail Page from the Assigned Agent.
