# Troubleshooting Cloudflare Access Blocks for Remote VAs and ISAs
## Sierra Interactive uses Cloudflare security, which can temporarily block remote VAs and ISAs. Learn why it happens and how to restore access.
Sierra Interactive uses Cloudflare, a global security service, to protect your website and the Sierra platform from harmful traffic. If Cloudflare detects unusual activity which can include legitimate traffic from virtual assistants (VAs) or inside sales agents (ISAs) working internationally it may temporarily restrict access. This is an automated security measure, not a change Sierra has made to your account.

"text" : "Why can’t my team members abroad access Sierra? Sierra uses Cloudflare, a global security tool, to protect our platform and your websites. If Cloudflare detects unusual traffic, it may block it. That’s an automated safeguard, not a change Sierra made. What can remote workers do right now if they are blocked? Try a different device or switch to mobile data. Clear your browser cache and cookies to reset expired session tokens. If you’re using a VPN, turn it off and connect directly. Or if you’re local, try a VPN instead. What’s the best long-term solution? Ask your internet provider for a static IP address. Once you have it, share that IP with Sierra Support. We’ll whitelist it in Cloudflare, giving your team stable, consistent access. Does Sierra recommend a VPN that works well with Cloudflare? While Sierra doesn’t officially endorse providers, many customers see the best results with NordVPN, Private Internet Access, and CyberGhost. These tend to work more smoothly with Cloudflare. Important note: VPNs should only be a backup. The most reliable fix is a static IP address, whitelisted by Sierra, for seamless access every time."
