Using the Call List to Call Leads in a Sequence

Utilize the Sierra Dialer Call List to efficiently schedule, call, record, and log calls with leads in a sequential, automated manner.

Why This Feature Matters

The Call List functionality streamlines your calling process by:

  • Allowing you to add multiple leads at once for automated dialing

  • Providing tools to quickly reorder, skip, and log calls

  • Saving time by moving you seamlessly from one call to the next

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Enable the Sierra Dialer

Before creating a call list, ensure you have completed the following:

  • Enable the Sierra Dialer at the team/account level

  • Connect to the Sierra Dialer at the individual user level

Once these steps are complete, you can proceed to create a call list.

2. Add Leads to Your Call List

  • Bulk Addition: On the Manage Leads page, select one or more leads and choose Add to Call List from the Bulk Actions dropdown.

  • Individual Addition: Click on a lead’s phone number in either the Manage Leads page or on the Lead Detail Page and select Add to Call List from the dropdown menu.

3. Access and Manage the Call List

After adding leads, a Call List tab (with options like “Start”) appears on both the Manage Leads page and individual Lead Detail Pages.

  • Click the Call List tab to:

    • View the complete list of leads

    • Reorder leads by dragging and dropping them

    • Remove one or more leads from the list

    • Initiate a call for a selected lead

4. Start Your Call List

When you are ready to start:

  • Click Start on the Call List

  • Choose your calling method:

    • Call via Browser: Use this option to call directly from the web app with a connected headset

    • Call via Connected Phone Number: Receive a call from your Sierra Dialer number on your linked phone, which then places the call to the first lead in your list

5. Work Through Each Call

  • The system will redirect you to the Lead Detail Page for the first lead

  • A 10-second countdown begins, giving you a chance to review important lead details (previous calls, notes, correspondence, tasks, and viewed properties)

6. Utilize the Footer Banner During Calls

During a call, the footer banner provides control options:

  • Mute: Silence your microphone

  • Skip: Skip to the next lead (the skipped lead moves to the end of the list)

  • Call Now: End the 10-second review and place the call immediately

  • Pause: Pause the countdown if you need extra time

  • Stop: Cancel the outbound call

  • Call List: Access the full call list

  • Dialpad: Enter numbers if prompted during the call

  • End Call: Hang up and log the call

7. Log Your Call

After each call, the Log Call overlay appears:

  • Choose Log and Stay on This Lead if you need to add additional notes

  • Or select Log and Move to Next Lead to proceed to the next call in the list

This process repeats until you have completed calling all the leads on your list.

Best Practices

  • Regularly update and reorder your call list based on lead priority

  • Use the 10-second review time to access key lead details for personalized communication

  • Take advantage of the control options (mute, skip, pause) to manage your call workflow efficiently

  • Log each call promptly to maintain accurate records in your system
